Being Post-Menopausal

What does it mean to be Post-Menopausal?

Once you have not had a menstrual period for 12 months, you are now officially“menopausal” or “post-menopausal.”  These terms are used interchangeably.  Many women have symptoms of menopause for a couple of years after they reach menopause while others have symptoms for up to twenty years or more.
